How We Think

How We Got Our Start
Earlier this year, the South Bend Community School Corporation discreetly sold several acres of land to the City of South Bend. Local business owners were not given the opportunity to bid on the property for business expansion, nor did either government entity disclose their plans for the land. It was later revealed that the City intended to utilize the nearly 5-acre parcel for a low-barrier homeless intake center. Relocating the existing intake center, which had been the source of nearly 1,000 911 calls the previous year at 3233 Lincoln Way W, South Bend, IN 46628, to an industrial complex, threatening the survival of all nearby businesses, just as it had already shut down multiple businesses in its former location.
Because of our governments' clandestine work, we have formed the Businesses United 4 movement to watch, question, and propose legitimate solutions.
